Developed completely on Microsoft .net Framework 4.5.2

We using C# programming language and take full advantage of the features of this development platform benefiting from its robustness and security.
The components of communication, data access, security, encryption, among others, rest on the .Net Framework 4.5.2 ensuring optimum performance and performance. FAST® Transaction Switch consists of more than 75 classes and more than 7000 lines of code.

Highly configurable components

All components have configuration files in which you can alter functionalities according to the needs of the business. In addition, the system has an administrative database (SQL Server 200x, Sybase, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) that contains all the information you need to interpret and write messages.

Configurable ISO 8583 Messaging

Messages that travel to and from the FAST Transaction Switch communication components are configured in the administrative database. This database contains the list of the fields that participate in each message. Each field is assigned an identifier, name, size, type (BCD, EBCDIC, BINARY, HEXA, ASCII, etc.). It allows to add fields dynamically and to redefine the messages according to the requirements of the transactions. In this way, the changes made by the different brands in their messaging will be applied nimbly and in most cases without any changes in the application.

Interpretation of up to 3 bitmaps

If you are using ISO8583 format messages our system supports complex messages that include up to 3 bitmaps, allowing the reading and interpretation of up to 192 fields (simple or complex) per message.

Custom Messages

You can enter customized messages in our database, allowing complete flexibility and scalability when defining how are the frames that travel through the network.

Parallel processing on all components

This allows you to take full advantage of the resources of the application servers, minimizing response times in message processing. Additionally, processing messages in parallel (Multithreading) avoids queuing messages ensuring the best response time at all times.

Components integrated to the Server

FAST® Transaction Switch components run as Windows services and store debug and trace information in the operating system event log. This facilitates the administration and granting of access permissions to processes and debug and trace information.

Full log storage in database, Event Viewer and Text File

As you configure the messages generated by the application can be stored in these 3 repositories. This facilitates analysis of any exceptions.

Preloaded configurations of the main brands

Among them Visa (VIP) and MasterCard, other implementations of ISO 8583 and proprietary and third-party implementations can also be included

Dynamic configuration of access points to the brands’ networks

The system allows to define dynamically the access points to the networks. In our administrative database, the IP address and client / server port of the access points are entered and the type of network to which they belong (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, etc. or customized installations) is identified. In this way, the system can grow along with the business.

FAST® Transaction Switch Server

This component is designed to listen to messages from different access points. It performs basic validations on the origin and structure of the message.

FAST® Transaction Switch Client

Its main task is to send the request and response messages to the brands access points. The FAST Transaction Switch Server and Client components use TCP/IP to allow communication over sockets (client and server).

FAST® Transaction Switch Processor

It receives incoming and outgoing messages and interprets them as configured in the administrative database. The main task of this component is to convert messages into instances of classes that are easily interpretable.

FAST® Transaction Switch Host

It performs the task of validating the message and decides to approve or decline the incoming transaction. It also generates outgoing messages to be sent through the access points.

FAST® Transaction Switch Core

Contains the main functions of administration, interpretation and processing of the messages..

FAST® Transaction Switch DataAccess

Allows access to data to retrieve configuration information, log storage and audit, among others.

FAST® Transaction Switch Support

This component provides support services to all components such as reading information from configuration, compression, encryption, security, among others.

Our Experience:

Citibank of Costa Rica: 04/2010

We implement FAST.TransactionSwitch to perform payment service interface for CLARO telephone company by consuming TCP / IP sockets using custom frames.
In addition, the End2End solution was developed for the receipt of payments from CLARO telephone company services, which included the development of screens in ATX (front office system) to receive payments with its respective back-end of branch and central servers. Also, operations consultations were implemented in the TADMIN (back office system), batch processes were added that generate information about the balance and reconciliation of transactions, as well as the accounting interface of the day’s operations.

We add the custom messages used by the MOVISTAR telephone company to the FAST.TransactionSwitch configuration. These messages consulting billing information, making payments and new contracts.
