All efforts must be geared towards the customer, because it is the real driver of the activities of the company. It is pointless that the product or service are of good quality, competitive price or you are well presented, if there are no buyers.

The main objective of every business is to know and understand customers so well that the product or service can be defined and tailored to their needs.

It would be idle to try to find a comprehensive and accurate description of the concept of “customer”. But we can draw up a list enumerating the essential aspects that can characterize that concept.

Professional Experience

Cuscatlán Bank Costa Rica: September 2007

In September 2007, we gave a course to 20 technology department employees to prepare them to take the 70-306 Developing and Implementing Windows-Based Applications with Visual Basic.NET and Visual Studio.NET

The workshop lasted 40 hours and was totally practical. Only one of the attendees did not approve this test of certification, being recognized by Microsoft of Costa Rica for the excellent results.

Citibank of Costa Rica: 04/2010

We implement FAST.TransactionSwitch to perform payment service interface for CLARO telephone company by consuming TCP / IP sockets using custom frames.

AIn addition, the End2End solution was developed for the receipt of payments from CLARO telephone company services, which included the development of screens in ATX (front office system) to receive payments with its respective back-end of branch and central servers. Also, operations consultations were implemented in the TADMIN (back office system), batch processes were added that generate information about the balance and reconciliation of transactions, as well as the accounting interface of the day’s operations.

Developed under .Net Framework 3 and Sybase 12.5.

Citibank Central America (Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala): from 01/2011 until the present

Citibank of Costa Rica: 01/2011

We add the custom messages used by the MOVISTAR telephone company to the FAST.TransactionSwitch configuration. These messages consulting billing information, making payments and new contracts.

In addition, the End2End solution was developed for the receipt of payments from CLARO telephone company services, which included the development of screens in ATX (front office system) to receive payments with its respective back-end of branch and central servers. Citibank of Costa Rica: 01/2011

We implement FAST.GenericSwitch to create an interface with third parties through the consumption of web services and other standards technologies. We implemented consumption of web services published by the National Bank of Costa Rica for pay bills for more than 150 different payees, among them are colleges, universities, public companies, utilities, telephone companies, credit cards, taxes, municipalities, etc.

In addition, an end2end solution was developed for the receipt of payments from the services of all the payees (more than 150), which included a system for pay bills for the cashiers and other for pay bills on-line. Also, an administrative system that provides operations consultations, generate a balance, reconciliation of transactions, as well as the accounting interface of the day’s operations.

Citibank of Costa Rica: 01/2011

We use FAST.GenericSwitch for consuming of the web services published by the MERLINK on-line market of Costa Rica, of the Technical Secretary of Digital Government of Costa Rica.

In addition, the End2End solution was developed for the issuance of electronic banking guarantees through MERLINK, for that purpose we add several screens to the COMEXT system for parameterization, generation, authorization and queries of electronic banking guarantees. SQR batch reports were also created.

Citibank Central America (El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua): 10/2012

Regional Transactions Cash Control System: A control of regional transactions carried out at ATX Regional was implemented in Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. This control included the creation of forms in the TADMIN (administrative terminal of current accounts and saving) of the whole region of parameterization of regional transaction limits. In addition to the controls from the ATX Regional application to apply the validations.

Citibank of Costa Rica: 10/2012

We implement FAST.CheckClearing in order to process incoming, outgoing and internal checks.

From this application all processes, procedures, internal and external interfaces related to the check clearinghouse are executed, automating all the tasks related to these processes to 100%.

The equipment used in this installation were scanners Digital Check TS240 and Walther Data HLS4.

Citibank of Costa Rica: 05/2013

FAST.ImageExporter Application: Solution to export images from the clearing camera to an external system called CITIDocs. This solution was also installed in Citibank Guatemala and Citibank Panama.

Citibank of Costa Rica: 08/2013

Citibank Costa Rica batch process automation: This included the migration of all batch processes from a UNIX server to Windows servers. In addition, we automate all processes both daily and weekly, monthly, annual and possible. This automation was carried out using CA Workload Automation AE (Autosys®), we developed all the Box and Jobs using language JIL.

Citibank Central America (El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua): 05/2014

Development of a DSI installer for COBIS development environments, this unique installer installs all the components required by the different COBIS applications at design and development time.

Developed under .Net Framework 4.0.

This solution will be used by all IT departments in the Central American region.

Citibank Central America (Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala): 06/2014

GAP Analysis of the batch process automation, this batch processes included daily, weekly, monthly and occasional closure processes in Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala.

As a result of this study, a document was presented with the automation strategy of these processes for each country.

D-Miro Bank Ecuador: 06/2014

We developed for the Bank D-Miro a solution of standardization of images of customers’ signatures. Based on the pattern recognition, our system established the portion of an image stored in the database that corresponded to the customer’s signature.

Developed under.net Framework 4.0 and Oracle 11g.

Citibank Guatemala: 08/2014

We implement FAST.CheckClearing under the model remote deposit capture (RDC) designed by the Central Bank of Guatemala.

The solution was included a series of web services that automate processes of electronic transfer of images, shipping notifications, monitor status of shipments, automatic updating of catalogues and digital certificates.

The equipment used in this installation were scanners Digital Check TS240.

Developed under .Net Framework 4.0 and SQL Server 2012.

Citibank of Panama: 11/2014

IWe implement FAST.CheckClearing using ICL (Image Cash Letter) files designed by the National Bank of Panama.

In this implementation, our system is responsible for generating rejections of incoming clearinghouse files in ICL (Image Cash Letter) format, also our system performs the loading and processing of rejections files of outgoing Chamber which are also found in the ICL (Image Cash Letter) format.

Citibank of Costa Rica: 03/2015

We customized FAST.CheckClearing in order to separate personal and business banking.

The equipment used in this installation were scanners Digital Check TS240 and BX7200.

Citibank NA of Guatemala: 03/2015

FAST.CheckClearing was implemented in order to replace the current solution for incoming clearinghouse.

As a second phase of our implementation of the FAST.CheckClearing at Citibank Guatemala, this project automated the entire process of incoming clearinghouse.

Citibank NA in El Salvador: 06/2016

We automate the entire process of incoming clearinghouse, we generate the compensation information with the central bank and with other departments of the Bank.

The equipment used in this installation were scanners NCR 9820.

CoopNacional Bank Ecuador: 11/2016

We develop for the CoopNacional Bank a solution for digitizing of signatures of customers checking accounts and savings accounts. We also developed a solution to digitize all kinds of documents to support checking accounts contracts and savings accounts at the bank.
